Excellent service from start to finish. Scheduling an appointment was incredibly quick and hassle‑free, which I really appreciated. When Alex Sotomayor arrived, he took the time to thoroughly explain all of the potential issues related to our heating concerns. His explanations were clear, detailed, and easy to understand. He also offered several practical and helpful solutions, making sure we felt confident about the next steps. Overall, a very professional and positive experience.

I tried reaching out to several HVAC professionals in the area. Some scheduled me however, due to the storm, many couldn't make it (no fault of their own). Though, McCarthy was the first to arrive at my house when the others were still trying to coordinate a time frame to get to me.
Shawn was the first to arrive and assess the situation with my heat pump. He conducted a thorough review and provided a detailed explanation on what was occurring. My system was very aged and it began performing like it. He coordinated to have a crew come out the next day and install a replacement and this resolved out issues.
Brian and Chanta were the two-man team that arrived the next day to install my new heating system. They were very friendly, very professional, and were very forward-leaning to answer my questions. They're work was meticulous... They prepped our house and ensured they work was clean and thoroughly done. They provided me with a walk through and explanation of everything that was done and they even gave me some pointers on how I could prolong the life of my new system.
All in all, I am happy with McCarthy's services. I will say, the work was extremely expensive however it was a must. They sent the right group of technicians to do the job and all three of them represented the organization very well. I hope they receive fair commendations from McCarthy after reading this review.

Weblist heat in 12 degrees temperature. The company that we typically use because they installed our systems (ARS) said their earliest availability was about 12 hours later so I called McCarthy Services. The technician was prompt, polite, professional, and he fixed the issue in no time. Thanks guys!

Had two repair men out the Saturday before Alex S came out and did not fix the problem so we limped through the coldest days of the season with a high temp of 66 degrees on the house with two sons who are severely disabled and could not be moved.
Alex fixed the problem in 20 minutes and put all the furnace pieces back together again in no time! He’s been our hero for over a year because I know when he comes the issue will be fixed. He’s a huge asset to the company!

Arrived when promised. Talented and efficient technicians. Completed the installation of a heat pump in a timely fashion. The representative making the proposal was top notch and he delivered all that was promised. I highly recommend this company.

We have been using McCarthy Services for HVAC and water heater maintenance since 2024. We are very happy with them. Prices are reasonable. The technicians are very knowledgeable and always go the extra mile.

I called, thought it was for Pepco thermostat. The first, responder listened at what I had to say, and offered an appt. I could not afford so he discounted it. I said, i would call back, after my Pepco visit, i called they had an opening. When the appointed time came and the person was not here I got a call saying he was delayed. In less than hr. Someone came and less than a half hour my problem was solved.

McCarthy provided our family support from Kenny and Lyndon from their team. We had a failed water heater in a home with a gas versus electric. They were both able to help us out in a rental property while keeping everything for the home owners neat. They were able to bring the water heater into our basement where the water heater was located and they laid down cloth mats to protect the carpet from stains. Professional from phone conversation, to installation, to review. Truly appreciate both of their help to get our household hot water again during the winter season.

The technician Patrick Adams was on time and very professional. He checked and informed me that the problem was my thermostat. Patrick replace it and made sure it was working properly before he left. He explained everything he was doing and why he did it. Patrick also suggested an item that l needed for my furnace to work more efficiently for my wellbeing. Patrick Adams' is truly an acess to the McCarthy Company.

The young man from Mccarthy Services who came to look at the problem that I was having with my HVAC was very helpful courteous and friendly and more important, zeroed right in on the problem Which immediately corrected the noise I was hearing from the unit in my master bedroom. I need to change the filter filters more often!
I really appreciate the professionalism and help! Another thing that impresses me is whenever I do have a problem they usually have availability the same day or the next day to come out and investigate the HVAC unit problem.

Outstanding service. The technician, Mr. Hernandez, was professional, experienced, candidly explained the issues, the resolution, and provided same day outstanding services. He resolved hvac issues in one visit with great efficiency and excellent work. He was also very courteous and took great care working on the unit and in the home. The technician did an amazing job helping us and found an issue I didn’t know existed. I appreciate his efforts and professionalism. It’s a tough time to be out and about trying to take care of all your customers but Eric was thorough and took the necessary time to ensure his diagnosis and solution would not lead to a follow up problem. He explained the problem and when he left we felt reassured that we were good to go. Thank you Eric!

McCarthy service rep , Alex, has done an excellent maintenance job on my furnace and he was back out to recheck my humidifier. McCarty has always provided me with excellent service over the past 12 years . Alex is a wonderful and professional rep.
David did a great job diagnosing the problem with my furnace. He spent time analyzing and fixing my furnace . So now everything should be working well with my gas furnace.
