Excellent service from start to finish.Replaced old ac and old gas furnace with hybrid heat pump system. They moved old systems, put heat pump on other side of sunroom as requested and rebuilt furnace. Also gave good explanations to help us choose. Then good direction on how to use final setup.
Ps Would only suggest that multi calls/texts reminders and scheduling info not come from both of the company names. There was heavy overlapping. It was confusing.

I had an appt this a.m. to check my A/C unit it was not cooling. My tech, James was professional. He assessed the unit on the outside & discovered a nest of some kind of rodent. A rodent had gotten in my unit & ate up the wires. I cover my unit in the winter so I guess the rodent found a safe place. James explained my options repair or replace. Since my unit is 15 years old, it makes sense for me to replace @ this time. James is a great tech and helped me look at both options including cost to repair or replace. I paid for service call and waiting on sales person to arrive re: purchasing a new unit!

Malachi is a most personable young man. Though we did not have the tune-up done (because we are replacing the units), he did give us some worthwhile information. The fee was canceled.

Professional installation of attic Rheem HVAC unit, Rheem Heat Pump, and Ecobee thermostat on 3-09-2026. Followup checkups on 3-13-2026 and 3-25-2026 were thorough. Consultation to review equipment options and associated cost vs benefit of HVAC installation on 3-06-2026 was detailed.

Thomas H. Arrived within the hour and fixed the problem within an hour. He was very polite, adaptable, knowledgeable, experienced, and had a humble sense of humor. My new smart thermostat wouldn’t cut on, it started to get chilly and I needed quick assistance. The first guy I hired, couldn’t get it to turn on, had me order another part and still couldn’t fix it. I am very glad I called McCarthy Services, Thomas found the wire the first guy claimed I didn’t have. And! They stuck with the price I was initially quoted. NGL 10/10 & he swapped my air filter out while he cleaned up his work space. No boot or dirt prints, no dirty hand prints on my walls. Absolutely 10/10 for my experience. Thermostat on, heat blowing. Made my day.

Mr. Howard arrived and did a deep analysis on my a/c system. He provided me with some valuable information cleaning, filters when to schedule maintenance appointments and tips on prolonging the life of my unit. If only all techs were like this young man. It was my pleasure.

McCarthy Services sent out a technician for seasonal HVAC maintenance. The technician was thorough kept Everything clean put everything back together. The service he provided was outstanding the technician himself was absolutely outstanding. When asked the question he answered with what I needed to hear not what he thought I wanted to hear. Very honest and very trustworthy. Technicians like this gentleman are few and far between.
