Let me first say, I am a tradesman (union carpenter)and in general can understand and complete most all tasks. With that being said, recently my furnace took a dump was in need of help. Contacted a few companies only to feel overcharged and confused on what my money was getting me. My wife found ARS and booked the appointment. From there, our salesman explained everything thoroughly, install team was intelligent and well educated in their craft. After a couple cold nights of sleeping in sweatpants and sweatshirts i was finally able to sleep in my boxers comfortably. Sorry but it's the truth! I especially want to give a shout out to Terry, who us a plumbing technician. He came by and dialed in my water heater which by chance started acting up just afterwards. Overall a great experience. I would recommend their services to anyone...

Very good. I really appreciate the service technician Fernando. He gave me an honest assessment of the problem and did not attempt to pressure me into making a decision when I am already in a stressful situation. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate being able to say that. I would recommend ARS due to my interaction with Fernando.

Our sump pump stopped working. I called ARS and a plumber, Jay, was sent to our home. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He replaced the sump pump very quickly and resolved our issue.

They were able to come on one of most of the coldest days of winter and installed both hvac and ac unit, this was just on one day notice. Job done neatly, system looks great, all very professional

Thank you so much Dean Losurdo for coming out in the cold, and checking out the pipes, shower, etc., things have been working well, and you did a really great job! Just a warning, for those who do not like swearing, or negative language, please request someone else, within the company to come by, and allow them to check the issue. Dean seemed to be knowledgeable, so it worked out for us!

I was contacted thru Angi regarding an estimate to replace my water heater. They did provide a prompt, free estimate via phone and their representative explained the potential invoice and costs for replacing the existing unit. Thank you for your assistance and follow up.

We were having issues with our furnace making noise. We came to find one of our pipes had been cracked and we were exposed to furnace exhaust gasses!
Efrain was quick, friendly and efficient in getting us set up with our next steps in getting our furnace replaced.

Alvin came to do a furnace maintenance check-up. He came to the house on-time and checked everything to ensure the furnace and humidifier were working properly. I would recommend this business; I’ve been with ARS for years-always happy with their service, maintenance and knowledge.

ARS OF Illinois is a very reliable service for all your Heating/Cooling and plumbing issues.
We thought our old hot water tank might be close to its end. ARS set a suitable appointment time for us and sent their Service Tech Terrence Spranger to assess our situation.
Terrence was on time, checked everything out thoroughly and explained all our options. He gave very detailed information about a new tank, went over product brand, install, warranties, service on the new 40 gallon tank, pricing, delivery/install dates and answered all our questions.
Honestly, Terrence did an amazing job from his first visit to the end visit of installing our new tank. He was straight forward about everything with NO pressure to buy. He left the area immaculately clean and we have peace of mind that we are all set now with the new tank for many years to come!
Terrence Spranger is a consummate licensed professional with over 10+ years at ARS. It was solely because of HIM that we agreed right away to move forward without calling any other company for pricing! He gave us a very fair deal and I was even able to use a coupon to get some money off!
We can’t say enough good things about Terrence. We are very satisfied with the whole process that Terrence took us thru. He’s a true asset to the ARS team and we will exclusively be calling ARS and requesting him for any and all service calls!

2nd review 6/24/2024: We signed up for the yearly maintenance plan last year on our AC & Furnace. ARS is always professional, sends reminders of your scheduled appointments and they are on time within the range given. Today we had our AC maintenance check with Nate. Nate was very friendly, thorough and detailed with the entire inspection. He changed our return air filter too! I’d definitely ask for Nate on my next furnace check this fall. Honest, reliable and licensed representatives always sent so you know it’s done correctly!

We had ARS come out as we had issues with water pressure in our 2 showers. Technician Scott White came out and assessed the situation carefully and fully. He was very professional and explained things in simplified terms vs shop terminology. He gave an estimate to fix (rebuilt shower faucets) both showers which I thought was a little more than I had expected. However due to the fact that he is a fully licensed plumber with over 20 years experience, the work came with a 1 year guarantee including the parts he ordered, I accepted his bid. Scott did an exceptional job and we are fully satisfied with his work. He didn’t make any mess and worked clean which I really liked. I would not hesitate to contact ARS for any home repairs I need. I’m sure all the techs are great but I’ll ask for Scott of course as he’s the best. Taking a shower with full water pressure feels great! Exceptional service from exceptional licensed technicians!

Our ARS technician, Mr. Leonard Caria, replaced an 11-year-old water heater and a bad gas control valve. He provided first-class service in removing the old equipment, and installing the new water heater and gas control. Mr. Caria was timely in his arrival, efficient in his work with us, and helpful in explaining our new equipment. My wife and I are 100% satisfied with his expertise and service!
